Alkaline water electrolysis equipment
In alkaline electrolysis equipment, a reaction occurs between two electrodes in a solution consisting of water and liquid electrolyte. When sufficient voltage is applied, water molecules will absorb electrons to generate OH + ions and H2 molecules. OH + ions flow through the solution to the anode, where they combine and release excess electrons, thereby generating water, electrons and O2.
