April 10, 2025 – Shenzhen Kylin Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a Cooperation Agreement with a leading UAE industrial and financial holding company, marking the beginning of an in-depth collaboration in the green hydrogen sector and a critical step for Kylin Technology in expanding into the North African market.

Under the agreement, the parties will synergize resources to jointly invest USD 50 million in establishing an automated hydrogen electrolysis equipment manufacturing facility in Morocco. The plant will occupy a 30,000-square-meter site with a built-up area exceeding 10,000 square meters, delivering an annual production capacity of 1GW. Integrated with over 2MW of on-site photovoltaic installations, the facility will ensure continuous green power supply for production and testing operations, achieving carbon-neutral and sustainable manufacturing. Additionally, the partners have committed to completing the engineering, installation, and commissioning of North Africa's inaugural 500MW green hydrogen project within a two-year timeframe.

This manufacturing base carries significant strategic value, designed to foster integrated development of green hydrogen equipment production and project deployment across Morocco, Egypt, and other North African markets, while extending into European territories including Portugal. The initiative will provide critical infrastructure support for the global green hydrogen industry's high-quality implementation, accelerating the worldwide energy transition and advancing sustainable development objectives.

With 17 years of specialized expertise in R&D and manufacturing of super alkaline electrolysis systems, Kylin Technology has successfully deployed over 200 electrolyzer units worldwide, serving prominent clients in semiconductor manufacturing, metal powder metallurgy, industrial gas production, and renewable energy sectors. The company's proprietary super alkaline electrolysis technology delivers high dynamic responsiveness and broad load-range operation, with performance validated through decade-long field applications. The systems uniquely combine the cost-efficiency of alkaline electrolyzers with the operational excellence of PEM technology, making them ideally suited for off-grid renewable hydrogen production scenarios.

This collaboration not only constitutes a strategic move in Kylin Technology's global market development but also establishes a foundation for mutual growth in the green hydrogen sector. Going forward, both parties will leverage their complementary strengths to jointly advance green hydrogen industrialization and contribute to the global energy transformation.
