Water electrolysis hydrogen production is a technology that decomposes water under the action of direct current to produce hydrogen and oxygen. It follows Faraday's law of electrolysis. Under the action of direct current, water is decomposed into hydrogen and 1/2 oxygen. Raw water first enters the demineralized water preparation device, and then enters the lye tank, lye distribution tank and cooling device water tank after ultrafiltration secondary reverse osmosis treatment.

The water entering the lye tank and the alkali distribution water tank is prepared into lye, which is sent into the gas-liquid separation device by the alkali distribution pump and enters the lye circulation system, thus replenishing the lye for the lye circulation system; the water entering the water tank of the desalted water cooling device flows through the water-water heat exchanger under the output of the circulating water pump, enters the multiple coolers in the gas-liquid separation device and the hydrogen purification device, and returns to the cooling tank.
The electrolyte from the electrolyzer has two paths: one is rich in hydrogen and the other is rich in oxygen. They enter the hydrogen separator and the oxygen separator in the gas-liquid separation device respectively. After hydrogen and oxygen are separated, the two paths of lye merge, filter by the lye filter, cool by the lye cooler, enter the lye circulating pump, and return to the electrolyzer after being pressurized by the pump, thus realizing lye circulation in the hydrogen production system.
The lye of the lye circulation system enters the electrolytic cell, and the water begins to decompose under the action of direct current, producing hydrogen and oxygen on the cathode and anode plates of the electrolytic chamber respectively. These hydrogen and oxygen flows out from both ends of the electrolytic cell together with the electrolyte and enter the gas-liquid separation device. The gas-liquid separation device is respectively provided with hydrogen separation scrubber, oxygen separator, hydrogen cooler, gas-water separator, alkali liquid circulation pump and other equipment.
